Irresistible Infants
Our Infant program has a unique group size of eight infants
and three teachers. Our teachers promote self discovery and awareness and encourage exploration. Infants benefit from individualized
lesson plans with activities such as finger plays, songs, books, music, tactile and water experiences catered to their
individual development. Our teachers promote self-awareness, language & communication, physical, spatial and temporal
awareness through a variety of teacher directed and child initiated activities. The teachers are also trained in recognizing
infant’s expression of feeling and encourage them to learn cause and effect relationships.
Our infant room teachers are equal to none. Ms. Faye, Ms.
Kelly and Ms. Nan work together to meet the needs of our infants everyday. Ms. Kelly has been with North
Point Prep for two years and has two children in our Pre-K and Toddler programs. Ms. Faye has been with us for well over
a year and has a child in our After School program. Ms. Nan has been with us for over a year, and has 4 adult
children of her own (two sets of twins!!). These three teachers split the day into 3 sections (7am-2pm, 8am-5pm and 12:30pm-6:30pm)
to provide continuous care for our infants with as little disruption as possible. Every teacher in this classroom
is certified in infant, child and adult First Aid and CPR. They also attend a minimum of 16 hrs of training per year
to maintain the highest possible level of care for our infants.
The infant room team is a true asset to North
Point Prep and a great contributer to the success of the school.

this can change without notice all interested parents are encouraged to call, tour and place your name on the wait list!!
