NorthPoint Prep offers an exceptional After School environment for elementary children. Children
in our program are provided time to do their homework, study, and be tutored in areas they may be struggling with.
In addition they benefit from a well developed curriculum where they participate in daily cooking projects, learn about famous
artists and reproduce works of art, express themselves through music, and physical fitness (yoga, dance, etc.). We believe
that an After School program should not only extend children's learning past their classroom doors, but offer well
rounded enrichment opportunities to further the education of the whole child.
We currently offer transportation to North Point Prep from the following elementary schools:
Northwood and Ester Jackson. This list of elementary schools changes yearly based upon the demand of the children in
the center and community. Please call to inquire about the elementary schools we will be servicing for the 2007-2008
school year.
Activites are planned and care is provided at an additional cost for days the school systems are closed. (i.e.
Spring Break, Winter Break, etc.)
Summer Camp
During the summer months, North Point Prep offers summer camp for Pre-K and school age children. Our interactive staff
plans fun-filled projects and field trips throughout the summer. Some of our favorite field trips include American
Adventures, The Whole World Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare, Lake Lanier Islands, and an overnight at Zoo Atlanta!!! The calendar
is filled with exciting adventures and activities for each day of the summer.
The Summer Campers are also provided with different academically challenging activities to keep their minds busy!
We take them to the library three times over the summer to check out books, and encourage them to read through incentive programs!
We look forward to this time each year and enjoy spending additional time with our older children.
ENROLLMENT UPDATE:
We have begun taking names for our Summer Camp! If you are interested you are encouraged to place your name on the list
for enrollment. Summer Camp spaces are extremely limited and the earlier you call the better your chances are of having
one of the most exciting summers ever!
