The Creative Curriculum
The basic premise of this curriculum is to allow children to learn through active exploration and play. In this environment children are learning in small groups during what we call Center Time.
Learning Centers found within the classrooms include: Dramatic Play, Library, Science, Math, Sensory Table, Blocks, Music & Movement, Listening and a Cozy Area.
This large part of their day along with Circle Time, Outside Time, Small Groups (teacher directed), Meals & Snacks and Nap/Rest Time allows us to educate the “Whole Child” (socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically).
We believe having a partnership with parents allows us to provide every child with their highest potential for learning. Open communication between North Point Prep and our parents is essential to our success and the success of every child. We value support in encouraging our children to develop independence, self-awareness, appreciation for diversity and compassion for others. We welcome the opportunity to show you the wonderful things we do for children, and answer any questions you may have.
